The Bridges

I am very interested in the interplay between man-made objects and nature. I see the bridges as a symbol of mans ability to overcome challenges presented by nature. However, the natural challenges (the river, for example) are not fully dominated; they have to be worked around. The river chooses its path and the bridge must acquiesce.
